Practicing to use your avalanche victim detection equipment can save lives
The day an avalanche occurs, there is no room for hesitation. Training in the use of avalanche rescue equipment is essential and can save lives. The Avalanche Training Center is available all year round. It consists of a 100 x 100 m2 area in somewhat steep terrain located on the lower end of the Ice Express chairlift. Here an avalanche cone can be realistically simulated. The electronic avalanche search device with its 5 senders remains buried under the snow all winter and can be activated electronically by the control center. Such a simulation is the best opportunity for everyone to learn how to respond in a true emergency. Each person must bring their own probe and shovel.
