Dogsled at Glacier 3000

Sled dog

Huskies take you for a walk on the glacier

On all fours in the snow: in white splendour, the huskies are at home. The whole pack enjoys frolicking in the snow - and this joy is passed on to all those who witness their frolicking. Better still, how about a dogsled ride in the unique Alpine setting of Glacier 3000? The huskies will pull you through the magnificent glacier landscape and give you a unique experience. This season, we are offering three different tours:

Discovery Tour: Ideal for a first experience. This activity is a 300–400-meter dog sled ride lasting about 5 minutes. You will also have the opportunity to pet the dogs and take a photo. Total duration: approximately 15 minutes.

Fun Tour: Perfect for families with young children. This activity is a bit longer, featuring a dog sled ride of around 3 km lasting about 35 minutes. You will also have the opportunity to pet the dogs and take a photo. Total duration: approximately 45 minutes.

Panoramic Tour: Enjoy a long ride all the way to the Quille du Diable and cross the glacier. This activity is a 6 km dog sled ride lasting about 50 minutes. You will also have the opportunity to pet the dogs and take a photo. Total duration: approximately 60 minutes.

Booking in advance on our webshop is required.

Important information:

This activity takes place on the glacier at 3,000 metres above sea level. From the Col du Pillon parking lot, take the cable car to the Glacier 3000 summit station. From there, take the Ice Express chairlift down to the glacier. Our musher, Charlotte, and her huskies will be waiting a few minutes’ walk from the bottom of the Ice Express chairlift. From the Col du Pillon parking lot to the dog sled track, it takes approximately 45 minutes using the cable car and chairlift.

In case the dog sled activity at Glacier 3000 is cancelled due to weather or snow conditions, you can either reschedule your visit or request a refund.
