Amazing performance from the winners of the 4th Glacier Run
Once again Martin Cox was able to dominate the field. With a time of 2:22.40 and under varying weather conditions, he was the first to cross the finish line at the mountain top station on the glacier. Second place went to Helmut Schiessl from Germany and third place to Stephan Wenk from Switzerland.
A new course record (2:44.05) was set by last year’s winner in the Women’s category, Daniela Gassmann Bahr. Susanne Habegger finished in second place and Angela Haldimann-Riedo in third.
The father and son team from huerzelercoaching with Samuel Hürzeler (2011 Gigathalon Winner) and his father Thomas won the team category with a time of 2:26.25.
A total of 518 runners crossed the finish line. 130 kids participated in the Gstaad Kids Run.
