| If you want to experience true adrenaline, then you must take a ride on the world's highest bobsleigh track. It opened in the summer of 2007 and is the new attraction at Glacier 3000. You can cruise along at approx. 40 km/hour and with the brakes you determine how fast you want to go. The 1 km track offers lots of variety:
The ultimate highlight is the 520-degree loop,
followed by 10 curves,
6 waves,
3 jumps,
and 2 bridges.
The track lies up to 6 m above the ground and gives guests the ultimate driving experience. The 2-minute downhill ride allows you to quietly race down the mountain. There are 30 sleds available.
The track is open during the summer season, basically whenever the cable car is in operation (depending on weather conditions). The Alpine Coaster can be closed after heavy snowfall or due to strong winds.
A ride costs CHF 6.00 for adults and children 9 years old and over. Children 8 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult. Both single and multiple ride tickets are available. If you purchase 4 rides, the 5th one is free.
