What is the price of the ticket for pedestrians?

The round trip by cable car costs CHF 85 for an adult, CHF 43 for a child (6-15 years old). For holders of a half-fare card, a general season ticket, a SBB day pass or a Swiss Travel Pass, a reduction of -50% is granted (CHF 43). SBB Junior Cards and SBB Accompanied Children Cards entitle children to free travel.

What is included in the ticket?

The ticket includes access to the Peak Walk by Tissot suspension bridge, the Ice Express chairlift, the Fun Park and the Glacier Walk.

What activities are sold separately?

Dog Sled Rides, the Alpine Coaster (June - October) and the snowbus are sold as options to the ticket. The dog sled rides will be available again in the winter of 2023-24 (let me know when reservations reopen). The tickets for the Alpine Coaster are on sale at the start of the activity and the snowbus is available on reservation all year long.

Do I have to book my ticket?

The cable car leaves every 20 minutes, and it is not possible to book a specific departure. Tickets are on sale from 8:45 am onwards at the departure of the installations. However, it is possible to buy them online on www.glacier3000.shop to avoid having to go to the ticket office. A ticket machine will then dispense the tickets purchased online.

Are the facilities accessible for people with reduced mobility?

Following the fire in our restaurant, only the cable car is equipped to accommodate people with reduced mobility. The lifts are no longer in operation.

Is Glacier 3000 suitable for small children?

Babies under 15 months are not accepted at Glacier 3000 for medical reasons related to the altitude. We recommend waiting until 24 months for an excursion at 3'000 meters.

Is the Magic Pass valid at Glacier 3000?

The Magic Pass is valid at Glacier 3000 for pedestrians and skiers from 01.11 to 30.04. It is not valid from 01.05 to 30.10. Subject to annual closure for fall revisions (see dates here)

Are dogs allowed at Glacier 3000?

Yes, dogs are accepted free of charge in the cable cars and on the chairlift to the glacier. In the restaurant and on the Glacier Walk, it is mandatory to keep them on a leash. It is necessary to take a chairlift to get to the glacier and the safety of the animal on the seat must be ensured by its owner. Dogs are not allowed on the ski slopes.

What time are the first and last cabins?

The first cabin is at 9:00 am, then departure of the cabins every 20 minutes. The last lift is at 4:00 pm but we advise you to come before 3:00 pm to have enough time to enjoy the activities. The last descent is at 4:30 pm.

Is the ice cathedral accessible?

Currently, the access to the ice cathedral is too dangerous. Therefore, its access is closed.

Can I access the Peak Walk by Tissot with my ski pass?

Yes, the Peak Walk by Tissot is freely accessible at the top of the Scex Rouge (arrival station of the cable car).

How can I find out when the slopes and facilities are open?

Glacier 3000 is a high mountain area where weather conditions can change rapidly. This is why we strongly recommend that you check the openings on our live info page before you start your journey to our domain. This map is updated every day at 8am and 5pm according to the current conditions.

What are the opening dates of the ski area?

The ski area is open every day from the first of November to the 30th of April, including weekdays at the beginning of the season.

Which slopes and facilities are open at the beginning of the season?

In November, and depending on snow conditions, only the glacier sector is open. It includes 3 facilities and 8 kilometers of trails. The rest of the domain and its two big slopes Red Run - Martisberg (8km) / Combe d'Audon (7km) open as soon as possible, normally in early December.

I forgot / lost my Magic Pass, is it possible to get a duplicate at the Glacier 3000 ticket office?

Yes, it is possible. However, an administrative fee of 40 CHF will be charged.

Is it possible to buy a Magic Pass at the Col du Pillon ticket office?

Yes, it is possible to buy a Magic Pass at the Col du Pillon ticket office at the daily rate.
